Liptov Kmasaci TransKarpatenOFF-ROAD Tour 2015

Next TransKArpaten OFF-ROAD tour. This time agane come frends from Slovak Republik, Liptov sity. Group this time was bigger than in summer. Meet on the Ukraine-Slovakian border, near village Ubla.

Last petol station, before drive to the mountains

First night we sleap in the bungalos. All next days was planed sleap in the tents.

Smal instruction and prepearing before off-road.

Local tuned UAZ :-)

After 1 hour off-road drive, we stop on the small glade. There we finde first tehnical problem. On one dont sviched on front whels. After 30 minutes tehnical question was decided, so we continue oure trawell.

Drive more deep in to the forest, roads start to be more and more intresting :-)

In the end of forest, we stop before muddy glade. There exist 3 tracks. Ewry trak is intresting. Some body drive just strate, others truy to find more easy ways. But result was one - most car needed winching. Only Y 61 and Toyota FJ Cruiser maded without winching.
First drive on 35 MT Silverstone tyres. 15 minutes hard fight with mud, but no chans - need .

I truy ower drive the big mud hole. But result was same - winching))

Next was Nissan Terrano. They drive in my track. But he was farst, and damaged the bumper. Next problem is was, that car dont have snorhel. And all air filter was full with mud. But engen still work Supi

Black must be winched back. To front no chans. The bumper was deep under the mud.

Frontera and Rubickon needed too winh. But they made the way for FJ Cruiser, which passed this mud hole.

In mud glade we loose near 2 and half houre. It was just 100 m. Nee, oder?

After this part of way, road start go up ti hill. And it was to not easy. Some cars juse winh, some alone drive up and some was pulled up. If it will be rainy, it will be wery hard and intresting Smile

Day run to the end. At 18 houre we was on the top of mountien - polonina. There was wisited the ruins of old military base, which was bilded for protecting the sky. Short stop for make pictures and we againe continye drive to the oure camp place.

In thierd day we continue oure expedition. We drive dowh from polonina and drive on highway near 40 km till oure next off-road part.

Next part was polonina Borzava. There located meteorological station.

The road situated completly on the top of the mountains. And before us is one mountain, where cars drive mostly down hill. So, there was littlbet danger part. But with work of ewrybody, we maded this purt with luck, and all cars was on the top.

But soon we stop. One get technikal problem. The petrol heating spark in cilinder head was loosed. We truy to repaered, but no chance. Was wery strong wind and could. So, we decide more dont drive on the tops, and was changed ore plans - we start drive to the village and truy finde service to repear the . If dont broke the , we will be have realy big problems... In the village, we get second technikal problem. On the FJ Cruiser was broken fron left bearing. Car cant move more... If this heapend on the top, we will loose to much time for the repear the car.

Next day we early in morning start repear the Toyota and . All servicint take half day. Nissan was profetionaly repeared with one local servicman. And price was realy funny.

After the finish car servicing, we continye oure trip and drive againe up hill. This day the weather was amazing. Only sun, no clouds. Wery nice landscapes. On the highest point of oure tour we stop for make group picture.

After some part of drive on the tops of mountiens, we stop to decide or will continye, or return. There was dangeor part of road, steep rokky up hill. Some weeks befor, there roll ower one poland Toyota. Picture dont show real look of this place. And was decided dont drive here and return.

After some drive on high way, we stop before next off-road part. It is old poland and chehoslovakian border. At moment it border of two Ukraine regions. The begining was intresting, with mud places. There we loose a lot of time, so we decide, that will make camp emidetly after mud part of road.

This night, was oure last night in mountains. Was wery nice and funny atmosfere near fire. Temperature was +3C. But near fire was warm and cool.

In morning we startwith small repearing. On was broken rear axle fixing, short one. But was spare, so it take it only 20 minutes. Weather was wery nice, sunny and start to be warm.

Later will up load the video about this trip.

And the Lada Niva and Opel Frontera have had no technical Problems?
