Greeting,

I am a member of a Czech Registered Re-enacting Assotiation which copy german KSK Kommando Spezialkräfte. In near future we want tu purchase Mercedes "G" Wolf.

At this moment I gather informations about millitary versions.

Could anyone help me to identify model of G on this picture? I would really appreciate it! :)

The "G" that you show on Photo is not a KSK Wolf.

Die G wie auch viele andere durch die VEBEG angebotenen
Dinge sind übrigens ausfuhrgenehmigungspflichtig.

Here some more fotos of the millitary mod. of WOLF in Afghanistan. Any ideas which version is that? 240? 250?

Now the aktually Wolf ist the 250 diesel engine.
I thenk it´s really better than the 240.

You can look for an Puch G in Austria.
They had in their army long military G wagons with the 250 engine and 3 doors.

The G Waggons on your pictures are on one hand a 290GD W461 and on the other hand a 290GD Turbo W461.
A lot off small parts, used at thise vihicles is hand made by the German Army.
Specialised Commands are using even G270CDI (B6 version) and G500.

even if this armoured one did´nt make it´s way back to Canada all people in the car survived

These are 270 Turbo Diesels as far as I know

@ Bondgirl your are right it´s an B6 armored 270CDI
but it hasn´t got a chanche against an RPG7 etc.
A G Waggon of a german police training team was attacket some weeks ago, not everybody survived....
The Romania Forces are using long G270 CDI an they are very happy with it. Only Problem: nor armory.
